There are many funny moments on the Graham Norton Show, but I can't think of any to top this one. It just shows that you just never know what would happen on this show.

I'll Have What Phil's Having
Hands down, and without any doubt, this is the BEST new food and travel series on TV right now. Period!
"I'll Have What Phil's Having" follows the food travel of Phil Rosenthal, the creator of "Everybody Loves Raymond". Two episodes into the series on PBS, it has become a very endearing show on TV. The first episode where he went to Tokyo, was a riot! That egg-cream scene at the end is destined to be a classic. And the reunion scene at the end of the Florence episode will make you cry.
And that is one of the emotions you'll run through during an episode. It'll make you laugh, gasp, cry, etc. It is as much a story of people as it is about food.
Read more of a Q&A with Phil Rosenthal and why he created this series in this news article.
To me, the best shows about food are not on The Food Network. Bizarre Food with Andrew Zimmern, America's Test Kitchen series, A Chef's Life, and now I'll Have What Phil's Having are all amazing shows that transcend beyond just food. These are the shows that The Food Network does not have the guts to produce! Shame on them!

Q. What is the most fun about doing this show?
A. All of this is really just an avenue: The food, the travel, the humor . . . it’s just a way to get to the people. That’s what the show is about — getting to know and meet people and trying to connect them through the food, through the humor and through the traveling.
My wife [actress Monica Horan, who played Amy on “Everybody Loves Raymond”] showed the Paris episode to a friend of hers who had never gone on a family vacation. After watching it, she called me, and my hand to God, she said, “Phil, I booked tickets and I’m taking my family to Paris because of the show.” It was the greatest compliment and I got very emotional because this was really all I wanted.

Phantom and Mangled Quotes From The Bible
This might be a show worth watching on CNN.
This article, to promote the CNN show, describes many versus that most people thought came out of the Bible, when in fact, they are nowhere to be found there!
See if some of the stuff you thought came out of the Bible were one of these phantom verses.

When you defend Phil Robertson, this is what you are defending
This is a pretty accurate article that blows away the smoke and the distractions.

Somehow, the Ted Cruz's and the Sarah Palins seem to have glossed over the other stupid remarks that he made.

Read this article to see what this is about. But you won't miss anything if you skip that and go straight to the video.

Guy Fieri's Time Square Restaurant Got Roasted By NY Times
I don't read many restaurant reviews. In fact, I don't recall when I last read one. But this one is a hoot and a half!
Now, I do love Guy Fieri's "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives" on the Food Network. So when I came across a review of Fieri's new restaurant in NY City's Time Square called "Guy’s American Kitchen & Bar", I just had to read it. And man, was this restaurant got skewered big time!
Here are some of the highlights (or lowlights) in the review:
I know! Maybe Guy could call Robert Irvine and do a Restaurant Impossible episode on his new restaurant! It sounds as if the restaurant needs an overhaul on the food and the service. Food Network will have a double-whammy for an episode since it will involve two of its stars!
Not gonna happen!

Here are some of the highlights (or lowlights) in the review:
What exactly about a small salad with four or five miniature croutons makes Guy’s Famous Big Bite Caesar (a) big (b) famous or (c) Guy’s, in any meaningful sense?Holy canolli, Batman! Those are awful reviews!
When you have a second, Mr. Fieri, would you see what happened to the black bean and roasted squash soup we ordered?
Hey, did you try that blue drink, the one that glows like nuclear waste? The watermelon margarita? Any idea why it tastes like some combination of radiator fluid and formaldehyde?
At your five Johnny Garlic’s restaurants in California, if servers arrive with main courses and find that the appetizers haven’t been cleared yet, do they try to find space for the new plates next to the dirty ones? Or does that just happen in Times Square, where people are used to crowding?{ZapperZ: This, btw, is one of my big pet peeves when dining out}
How did Louisiana’s blackened, Cajun-spiced treatment turn into the ghostly nubs of unblackened, unspiced white meat in your Cajun Chicken Alfredo?
By the way, would you let our server know that when we asked for chai, he brought us a cup of hot water?
Tell me, though, why does your kitchen sabotage even its more appealing main courses with ruinous sides and sauces? Why stifle a pretty good bison meatloaf in a sugary brown glaze with no undertow of acid or spice? Why send a serviceable herb-stuffed rotisserie chicken to the table in the company of your insipid Rice-a-Roni variant?
Somewhere within the yawning, three-level interior of Guy’s American Kitchen & Bar, is there a long refrigerated tunnel that servers have to pass through to make sure that the French fries, already limp and oil-sogged, are also served cold?
Oh, and we never got our Vegas fries; would you mind telling the kitchen that we don’t need them?

Michael Buble on Graham Norton Show
There have been many amazing moments on Graham Norton show, but I think this has to rank as one of the top. Michael Buble's appearance on it was very funny and enjoyable. But he capped it off with an amazing performance of his tune "Haven't Met You Yet".
It will hard to top this one. I still watch these two videos regularly even this was from Fall of 2009. Michael Buble is one amazing performer.

Clinton Becomes Bush's Hand Wipe
OK, this is too hysterical to pass up, so you can look for yourself in case you missed it.
I'm not a big fan of G.W. Bush, but he has provided some of the most hilarious acts of any politicians since Dan Quayle!

The 2009 Tony Awards
Memo to the Academy Awards Producers:
Date: June 7, 2009.
Dear Mr. Producers,
I've just finished watching tonight's opening number on the Tony Awards, and it was a showstopper. It was lively, concise, fun, glorious, and nowhere near a dud. They are performed by amazing talents who can dance and sing. This is entertainment at its best. How come you guys can't learn from these people who produce the Tony Awards shows?
It's not as if this is the exception. Almost every year, the Tony Awards shows are a lot more intriguing, fun, and certainly not a yawner, and they showcase these amazing stage drama and musicals without being a bore. There's a feeling of looseness in the show, not stiff and rather stogy the way the Oscars have been.
So please, LEARN from the Tony Awards. I don't want to spend another agonizing evening watching your Oscar award show and cringing at the bad musical number that sometime is embarrassingly bad!
Sincerely,
Zz.

You Steal, Then You Admitted To That On National TV
So, if you have shoplifted many times, used your kids to do your dirty work, or even videotaped the unlawful deed, do you then go on national TV to brag about your crime? Most "rational" people (if you can call such people rational) would not.
These people are not rational. After they did their crime, they went on Dr. Phil and brag about it!
Are these people really THAT desperate for their 15 minutes worth of fame?
Zz.
